American Traveler is seeking a Maternal Fetal Medicine Sonographer with 2+ years of OB/GYN experience for a high‑risk pregnancy clinic. ARDMS OB/GYN and NT certification are required, with OB/GYN and outpatient experience and Epic EMR proficiency.

The role involves working across six ultrasound rooms at one hospital and two at another, performing 7–9 detailed exams daily, assisting with amniocentesis and CVS/PUBS, and reporting findings to three MFM physicians. First‑time travelers are welcome.

Formación

• Minimum 2 years as a Maternal Fetal Medicine Sonographer.
• BLS, ARDMS OB/GYN, and NT certifications required.
• OB/GYN and outpatient experience required.
• Epic EMR experience required.
• Compact state license must be in hand at time of submission; license required if applicable
• Two supervisory references covering 1 year of employment within the last 3 years required
• Candidates must disclose any prior work history at a Providence facility as a permanent employee, traveler, or per-diem staff

Responsabilidades

• Work across 6 ultrasound rooms at one hospital and 2 rooms at a second hospital location
• High Risk OB/MFM clinic setting performing detailed ultrasounds for high-risk maternal and fetal patients
• Perform 7-9 detailed ultrasounds daily and report findings to 3 MFM physicians
• Assist with amniocentesis, amnio reduction, CVS, and PUBS procedures
• 1:1 patient ratio
• Uses GE ultrasound equipment, PACS, and Epic EMR
• 5x8 hour day shifts from 7:30 AM to 5:00 PM
• No nights, weekends, or major holidays required
• May float within scope to meet facility needs
• Perform detailed fetal and maternal sonography including fetal echo, anatomical surveys, and multiple pregnancy evaluations
• First-time travelers are accepted for this role
• May be required to float between sister facilities nearby
• Returning staff who previously worked at the facility as permanent employees must wait at least 3 months before returning as a travelers and cannot live within 50 miles of the facility
• Candidates must disclose any prior work history at a Providence facility as a permanent employee, traveler, or per-diem staff
• Scrubs of any color without prints are required
• Local candidates accepted within a 50 mile radius at a lower bill rate
• RTO requests must be submitted upfront at time of submission; post-submission requests may not be accommodated
• Expected to commit to working 3 of 5 major holidays
