Job summary

McClatchy Media Company seeks a part-time merchandising specialist to service multiple stores on-site. You will travel between accounts, replenishing products and setting up displays according to planograms, while following the established schedule.

The role requires strong communication, reliability, and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Travel may be extensive to cover the territory and locomote between stores.

Qualifications

• General merchandising experience preferred but not required.
• Strong interpersonal skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Able to multitask and detail-oriented.
• Conduct self in a professional manner.
• Adherence to the company’s attendance policy.
• Reliable transportation for travel.
• Able to use Movista and/or other company-required applications.
• Have personal cell phone and mobile device, such as a tablet.
• Proficient with Word, the internet, and email applications.

Responsibilities

• 100% Merchandising.
• Work within a retail environment to merchandise products and replenish stock according to standards.
• Service all stores as scheduled; obtain approval before overtime or off-schedule work.
• Record work hours and related information using designated applications.
• Communicate with supervisor for duties beyond listed tasks.
