Job summary

McClatchy Media seeks a part-time Merchandiser to service products in multiple stores around Lawrenceburg, IN. The role requires travel between accounts with time paid for travel, and no reports are required. A background check and drug test are part of employment.

Assigned stores follow a designated weekday schedule; strong communication and reliability are essential to succeed in a fast-paced retail environment.

Qualifications

• General merchandising experience preferred but not required.
• Strong interpersonal skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Able to multitask and detail-oriented.
• Conduct self in a professional manner.
• Adherence to the company’s attendance policy.
• Reliable transportation for travel.
• Able to use Movista and/or other company-required applications.
• Have personal cell phone and mobile device, such as a tablet.
• Proficient with Word, the internet, and email applications.

Responsibilities

• 100% Merchandising: Work within a retail environment to merchandise products by store standards, replenish stock, and display per guidelines.
• Service all stores as scheduled within the hours provided by Supervisor, Merchandising; seek approval for overtime.
• Contact Supervisor before working more than 10 hours in a workday or overtime.
• Accurately record work hours and other company information using designated applications.
• Discuss duties requested by store personnel with Supervisor before performing those duties.
• Other duties as assigned.
