Job summary

McClatchy Media in Raleigh, NC is seeking a part-time Merchandiser to service product in multiple stores, travel between accounts, and work on-site.

You will follow planograms, replenish stock, and set up displays while communicating with store personnel. Travel may be up to 100% with reliable transportation. Employment is contingent on a background check, a 4-panel drug test (THC not included), and MVR clearance.

Qualifications

• General merchandising experience preferred but not required.
• Strong interpersonal skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Able to multitask and detail-oriented.
• Conduct self in a professional manner.
• Adherence to the company’s attendance policy.
• Reliable transportation for travel.
• Able to use Movista and/or other company-required applications.
• Have personal cell phone and mobile device, such as a tablet.
• Proficient with Word, the internet, and email applications.

Responsibilities

• Merchandise products in retail stores to corporate standards.
• Replenish product safely and efficiently.
• Assemble shelves/racks and display cases following measurement guidelines.
• Service all stores as scheduled; seek approval for overtime.
• Record work hours using designated applications.
• Discuss duties with Supervisor before performing unlisted duties.
• Other duties as assigned.
