Job summary

McClatchy Media Company is seeking a part-time Merchandiser to service multiple stores in the Miami area. The role is on-site, non-exempt, and requires travel between accounts.

You will work a designated weekday schedule, earn about $15 per hour with travel time paid, and travel up to 100%. Proficiency with Word, email, Movista, and strong interpersonal skills are essential. Background check and MVR clearance may apply.

Qualifications

• General merchandising experience preferred but not required.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Able to multitask and detail-oriented.
• Professional conduct and adherence to attendance policy.
• Reliable transportation and mobile device.
• Proficient with Word, the internet, and email applications.

Responsibilities

• 100% Merchandising: work within a retail environment following store/corp standards; replenish product; assemble shelves and display cases per guidelines.
• Service all stores as scheduled; seek approval before working outside scheduled hours.
• Record work hours and other information using designated applications; discuss duties with Supervisor before performing them.
• Other duties as assigned.
• Work stores as scheduled; handle all product; follow planograms (POGs) and flowcharts; maintain regular communication with Supervisor; develop relationships with store personnel.
