Job summary

McClatchy Media Company seeks a part-time Merchandiser to service multiple stores in the Deerfield Beach area. The role requires travel up to 100% and carries a compensated wage of $15 per hour, with travel time paid.

The position is non-exempt and on-site, with schedules set for designated weekdays. Applicants should have general merchandising experience or be willing to learn, showcase strong interpersonal skills, and provide reliable transportation.

Qualifications

• General merchandising experience preferred but not required.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to communicate clearly.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Able to multitask and stay detail-oriented.
• Professional conduct and adherence to attendance policy.
• Reliable transportation for travel between accounts.
• Familiar with Movista or similar applications and mobile devices.
• Proficient with Word, Internet and email applications.

Responsibilities

• Work within a retail environment to merchandise products per store and corporate standards.
• Safely replenish products and assemble shelves/racks following measurement guidelines.
• Service assigned stores on designated weekdays according to schedule.
• Record work hours and other information using designated applications.
• Communicate with store personnel and Supervisor before extra duties or overtime.
• Engage in relationships with store personnel and maintain regular contact.
