Job summary

McClatchy Media Company is seeking a part-time Merchandiser in Miami, FL to service products across multiple stores. The role is on-site with travel between accounts, and compensation includes travel time and potential bonuses after 3 months.

The position requires strong communication skills, reliability, and the ability to multitask. Candidates should be comfortable with using Movista, Word, Internet, and email, and must pass background checks and drug testing.

Qualifications

• General merchandising experience preferred but not required.
• Strong interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to multitask and stay detail-oriented.
• Professional conduct and reliable attendance.
• Must have reliable transportation and travel readiness.
• Familiar with Movista or similar applications.
• Own cell phone and mobile device.
• Proficient with Word, Internet and email.

Responsibilities

• Work within a retail environment to merchandise products by store and corporate standards.
• Safely and efficiently replenish product; may assemble shelves, racks and display cases following measurement guidelines.
• Service all stores as scheduled within the hours provided by Supervisor, Merchandising.
• Seek prior approval from Supervisor before working outside scheduled hours.
• Contact Supervisor before overtime or more than 10 hours in a workday.
• Accurately record work hours and related information using designated applications.
• Discuss duties with Supervisor before performing those duties.
• Other duties as assigned.
