Gifted Healthcare is seeking a MedSurg Registered Nurse to deliver bedside care for a diverse patient population and to develop individualized plans of care. You will collaborate with the treatment team to ensure safe, effective patient outcomes.

Responsibilities include preparing equipment, assisting physicians during exams and treatments, administering prescribed medications, starting IVs and changing dressings, and monitoring patients for adverse changes. Night shifts are 3x12.

Responsibilities

• Provide bedside MedSurg care across a variety of patients and create individualized plans of care.
• Prepare equipment and assist physicians during examinations and treatments.
• Prepare, administer, and record prescribed medications.
• Initiate alternative action when adverse symptomology is displayed.
• Change dressings, insert catheters, start IVs when necessary.
