TotalMed is seeking a Travel RN in Med Surg for a 13-week assignment in Somerset, KY. The role requires 1–2 years of acute care experience, BLS, and 36 hours per week on 12-hour night shifts.

Responsibilities include bedside care, medication administration, IV starts, dressings, and patient education for discharge planning. Travel nurses are supported with benefits and weekly pay while meeting patient care needs.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of recent acute care experience.
• BLS certification required.
• 13-week travel assignment with 36 hours per week.
• 12-hour night shifts.

Responsibilities

• Provide bedside care for a variety of patients, including pre- and post-op.
• Prepare, administer and record prescribed medications; report adverse reactions.
• Change dressings, insert catheters and start IVs.
• Support physician during examination and treatment as needed.
• Educate patients and families; participate in discharge planning.
