Job summary

Gifted Healthcare is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to plan and manage patient care, and to act as the eyes and ears for RNs and physicians. You will perform ongoing assessments of vital signs and coordinate care with the healthcare team.

Responsibilities include administering medications and dressings, supervising nursing assistants, resolving care-plan issues, and handling IV therapy. Night shifts are 4x12 hours.

Responsibilities

• LPNs administer and monitor patient medications and dressing changes.
• Supervise nursing assistants and act as the leader of a group of nurses.
• Find, address, and provide solutions for any problems a specific patient might have in terms of their care plan.
• Administer intravenous medication and fluids and care for those intravenous lines in patients.
• Shift: 4x12 Nights
