MedPro Healthcare Allied Staffing is seeking a travel Medical Technologist for a travel job in Lufkin, Texas. This contract role offers 40 hours per week, night shifts, for 13 weeks with travel staffing support.

The position requires active MLS/MT certification (ASCP/AMT/HEW/AAB) and 18 months of related experience; a state license may be required. Housing options, health insurance, and travel reimbursement are included as benefits.

Formación

• Active certification through ASCP, AMT, HEW or AAB required.
• Eighteen months of Medical Laboratory Technologist / Technician experience required.
• A state license may be required.
• Need to have a basic grasp of scientific laboratory procedures, including using laboratory equipment and generating reports from laboratory tests.

Responsabilidades

• Test blood and bodily fluids using complex laboratory equipment.
• Examine specimens for bacteria, viruses or parasites.
• Measure levels of drugs or other chemicals in the blood.
• Assess chemical content to identify deficiencies or excesses.
• Follow lab protocol for analyzing, interpreting, and delivering results.
