Job Title: Travel Medical Lab Technologist

Shift: Nights - 10 hours - four shifts

Duration: 13 weeks

Start Date: 03/19/2023

Stipend: $1,281

Hourly Pay: $58

OT: 1.5

Weekly pay: $2,159

Job Description

A 300-bed hospital in Wayne County, offers services including cardiology, obstetrics and gynecology, orthopaedics and pulmonary care, as well as an innovative telemedicine program.

4-10 hour shifts, currently Monday through Thursday, with the requirement to be blood bank trained with knowledge and experience in SafeTrace

Generalist Night shift proficient in SafeTrace.

Monday - Thursday nights shift 8p-6:30a

Qualifications

Work Experience

• Minimum of two years in specialty in similar size hospital
• Experience with Epic Electronic Medical Record
• Previous experience in a Clinical or Pathology Laboratory a benefit, but not required.
  
  

License/Registration/Certification

• CPR (by the American Heart Association)
• BLS, ACLS - American Heart Association
• Certification by American Society for Clinical Pathology (ASCP) preferred, but not required
  
  

Education and Training

• BS in Medical Technology or BS in a related Science (Biology, Chemistry, or The Physical Sciences) and/or equivalent relevant experience as recognized by New York State Department of Education for licensure as a Clinical Laboratory Technologist. (NYS Dept of Education, Education Law, Title 8, Article 165, sub-parts 79-15; 9/23/8).
  
  

Physical Requirements - Must be able to push, pull, bend, and ambulate without assistance.
