Description:

Join the Core laboratory team at NewYork-Presbyterian Brooklyn Methodist Hospital, a 591-bed hospital affiliated with Weill Cornell Medical College, dedicated to providing high-quality, compassionate care. The vibrant, family-oriented, and community-focused culture offers opportunities to collaborate across hospital departments and lead a team committed to improving patient care.

In this role, the employee will be responsible for making independent judgments to perform routine and specialized tests in our Core Lab Department.

This is a full-time night shift from 11:00 pm to 7:00 am, including rotating weekends and holidays, at NewYork-Presbyterian Brooklyn Methodist Hospital.

Competitive sign-on bonus up to $10K:

• Eligible for new graduates
• Bonus based on experience
• Additional bonus for night shift

Preferred Criteria:

• One year of experience
• ASCP certification

Required Criteria:

• Bachelor’s degree in medical technology or equivalent (credentials may be grandfathered based on experience)
• New York State Clinical Laboratory Technologist licensure from the New York State Education Department
• Pending hires must obtain licensure within 6 months and work as trainees until then
• Computer literacy
• Strong communication skills for multidisciplinary teamwork
• Ability to work independently
