Qualifications

• Eighteen months of MLT/MT experience required
• State license may be required
• Basic grasp of lab procedures and reporting

Responsibilities

• Test specimens using laboratory equipment to generate results
• Examine specimens for bacteria, viruses or parasites
• Measure drug levels and other chemicals in blood
• Assess nutrient deficiencies or cholesterol or glucose levels
• Operate counters, cultures, microscopes and other lab tools
• Follow lab protocols for analysis, interpretation and reporting
