Job summary

MedPro Healthcare Staffing is seeking a travel Medical Laboratory Technologist for a 13-week assignment in Salt Lake City, Utah. You will perform complex testing, operate state-of-the-art equipment, and ensure accurate reporting.

This role requires ASCP/AMT/AAB certification, 18 months of MT/Technician experience, and may require a state license. Travel stipends, housing options, and comprehensive benefits are provided.

Qualifications

• Active certification through ASCP, AMT, HEW or AAB required
• Eighteen months of Medical Laboratory Technologist / Technician experience required
• A state license may be required
• Need to have a basic grasp of scientific laboratory procedures, including using laboratory equipment and generating reports from laboratory tests

Responsibilities

• Test blood and other body fluids using complex laboratory equipment to provide results
• Examine specimens for bacteria, viruses or parasites
• Measure drug or other chemical levels in blood to aid therapeutics
• Assess chemical content of blood to identify deficiencies or excesses
• Follow lab protocol for analyzing, interpreting and delivering test results
