Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing seeks a Travel Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) - Generalist for a 26-week assignment at a facility in Aiea, HI. The MLT performs routine and moderately complex tests across chemistry, hematology, microbiology, immunology, and toxicology, supporting patient care teams.

Required: one year of recent MLT experience and an active license where required. Preferred: ASCP or equivalent certification, BLS, and other relevant licenses.

Qualifications

• One year of recent experience as a Medical Laboratory Technician.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine diagnostic laboratory tests in chemistry, hematology, immunology, microbiology, and toxicology.
• Prepare and process specimens with accurate labeling and handling.
• Ensure accuracy of test results through quality control and SOP adherence.
• Operate and maintain lab instruments and troubleshoot issues as needed.
• Communicate results clearly to healthcare professionals and maintain documentation.
