Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a Travel Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) – Generalist for a 26-week assignment at a Bethel, AK facility. The role involves performing routine tests across chemistry, hematology, microbiology, and immunology, with emphasis on accuracy and quality control.

You will work with a supportive clinical team, receive competitive pay and comprehensive benefits, and have access to dedicated travel support and licensure/CEU reimbursement.

Qualifications

• 1 year of recent MLT experience.
• Valid license when needed by state regulations.
• Preferred ASCP/AMT/HEW certifications are a plus.
• Current BLS certification (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Perform routine diagnostic lab tests in chemistry, hematology, microbiology, immunology.
• Prepare and process specimens with accurate labeling and handling.
• Ensure accuracy of test results following QC protocols.
• Follow SOPs and regulatory guidelines (AABB, CAP, FDA, CLIA).
• Operate and maintain instruments and troubleshoot as needed.
• Communicate results clearly to healthcare professionals.
• Maintain records of test results, calibrations and QC.
• Assist with inventory, reagents, and stocking lab supplies.
