Job summary

Pinnacle GI Partners is seeking a Medical Assistant to support patient care across current and future locations. The role requires completing all levels of education and a Medical Assistant program, with 1–3 years of healthcare customer service experience.

The Medical Assistant will report to the Clinical Supervisor, work in a fast-paced team environment, and travel to support clinics as needed. Primary duties include assisting in examinations, handling patient history, vitals, and specimen

Qualifications

High School diploma or GED required.
Completed Medical Assistant program or medical training course.
1–3 years customer service experience, preferably in healthcare.
RMA or CMA certification preferred.

Responsibilities

Assist in examination and treatment under physician/MLP guidance.
Interview patients to verify medical history, medications, and allergies; record vitals.
Prepare charts and exam rooms; restock supplies daily.
Assist physician with procedures; hand instruments to doctor.
Administer immunizations; obtain labs and x-rays as needed.
Obtain medication authorizations; communicate with pharmacies and staff.
Manage charts and appointment schedules as required.
