Job summary

Florida Cancer Specialists & Research Institute is seeking a Medical Assistant for a 17-month contract to support EMR deployment across multiple Florida locations. The role requires travel and clinical support including phlebotomy and lab work.

The candidate should have at least 1 year of MA experience, a Florida driver’s license, and be able to obtain BLS within 30 days. Travel accommodations and meals are provided and telecommuting is not the primary work mode.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of medical assistant experience in a clinic or physician’s office.
• Venipuncture ability preferred.
• Florida driver’s license required for travel to clinics.
• BLS must be obtained within 30 days of employment.

Responsibilities

• Assist physicians with medical procedures in office.
• Perform phlebotomy and laboratory testing.
• Quality control, instrument troubleshooting, and maintenance.
