MATClinics in Annapolis, MD seeks a Behavioral Health Medical Assistant for Addiction Medicine. This traveling position requires commuting to multiple offices and delivering patient-focused care in a fast-paced team.

You will conduct patient interviews, document in the EHR, coordinate medications, and support providers while guiding patients to available services. The role emphasizes compassion, organization, and tech comfort with flexibility for evenings and Saturdays.

Formación

• Customer service and phone etiquette required in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills; speak and write clearly.
• Tech-savvy with software, apps and digital filing.
• Knowledge of addiction and treatments like Buprenorphine.
• Willing to work evenings and Saturdays.
• Valid driver’s license and travel between locations.
• Education: High School Diploma or GED; associate/bachelor preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Interview patients about medical history, substance use and recovery progress.
• Document in the electronic health record and process lab specimens.
• Coordinate long-acting injectable medications and educate about services.
• Provide compassionate customer service, answer phones and schedule appointments.
• Support clinic operations and assist clinical and administrative teams.
• Maintain a clean, organized, welcoming clinic.
