Job summary

TotalMed RN is seeking a Telemetry/Med Surg RN for a travel nursing job in West Burlington, Iowa. The Telemetry RN will monitor heart rate, BP, breathing, oxygen levels, and ECG data, and will support patient care during a 13-week assignment with 36 hours weekly on 12-hour night shifts.

The ideal candidate has 1–2 years of acute care experience and current ACLS, BLS, NIH, and CPI certifications. Weekly pay, guaranteed hours, and full benefits are provided to qualified travelers.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of recent acute care experience.
• ACLS and BLS certifications.
• NIH and CPI certifications may be required before assignment.

Responsibilities

• Provide bedside care and monitor telemetry data.
• Interpret and record electronic telemetry displays.
• Identify irregular readings and notify medical team.
• Initiate corrective actions based on monitoring data.
• Stand/walk for long periods and lift up to 50 pounds when needed.
