Job summary

TotalMed RN in Augusta, GA is seeking a Med Surg / Telemetry RN for a travel assignment. The role offers 8 weeks, 36 hours per week, with travel and 12-hour night shifts, and travel employment.

The ideal candidate has 1–2 years of acute care experience, BLS, and flexibility to start immediately. Responsibilities include bedside assessments, med administration, dressings, IVs, patient education, and discharge planning in a fast-paced Med/Surg setting.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of recent acute care experience.
• BLS certification required.
• Travel RN with 12-hour night shifts available.
• 8-week assignment with 36 hours per week.

Responsibilities

• Provide bedside care for Med/Surg patients including pre- and post-op.
• Administer medications, document findings, report adverse reactions.
• Change dressings, insert catheters, start IVs.
• Assist during examinations and procedures, educate patients and families.
• Participate in discharge planning and patient education.
