Job summary

TotalMed RN is seeking a Telemetry/Med Surg travel nurse to work in Elizabethtown, KY for 13 weeks, 36 hours weekly on a 12-hour night shift. This travel role requires current RN licensure, 1–2 years of acute care experience, and telemetry proficiency.

ACLS/BLS/NIH certifications are preferred and travel compensation applies. Eligible candidates will perform bedside care, monitor telemetry, and respond to abnormal alarms while coordinating with the healthcare team.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of recent acute care experience.
• ACLS and BLS certifications.
• NIH certification may be required.

Responsibilities

• Provide basic bedside care.
• Monitor and interpret telemetry equipment and display readings.
• Identify abnormal telemetry readings and notify the medical team.
• Take corrective action based on monitoring data.
