Job summary

American Traveler is seeking an experienced Travel RN Telemetry Med/Surg for a 13-week assignment in Tucson, Arizona.

This position features a 12-hour day shift, 36 hours per week, and a tax-free stipend. Compensation includes weekly pay with potential bonuses and reimbursements.

Active AZ or compact RN license required with at least 1 year of Med/Surg Telemetry experience, and no significant gaps in the past year. Travel assignments offer day-one benefits and housing assistance where available.

Qualifications

• Active AZ or compact RN license required
• Minimum of 1 year recent experience in Med/Surg Telemetry
• No work history gaps totaling 90 days or more in the past 12 months
• Certifications must be valid and not expire within the first 30 days of assignment
• Must not have been employed as permanent staff at any CHS facility within the past 2 years

Responsibilities

• Work in a hospital setting covering Med/Surg and Telemetry units
• Day shift from 07:00 to 19:30
• Care provided on multiple Med/Surg/Tele units, including transitional care
• No local travelers allowed within a 50-mile radius
• RTO requests must be less than 1 week
• Returning travelers from CHS may not be considered if employed as perm staff within the last 2 years
• Complete orientation and onboarding required prior to the start date
• Holiday coverage may be required per unit needs
• Travelers must reside at least 50 miles from the facility
