American Traveler is seeking a Telemetry Med/Surg RN for a travel assignment in Tucson, Arizona. The role requires an AZ or compact license and at least two years of nursing experience, with a focus on Med/Surg Telemetry.

The position involves a 13-week assignment, 36 hours per week, and 12-hour days. Local travelers within 50 miles are not eligible; tax-free stipends and reimbursements are offered as part of the package.

Qualifications

• Active AZ or compact state RN license required.
• Minimum of 1 year recent Med/Surg Telemetry nursing experience.
• At least 2 years total nursing experience.
• Certifications must be active and not expire within 30 days of start.
• Candidates must reside outside a 50-mile radius from the facility.
• No prior permanent employment at a CHS facility within the past 2 years.

Responsibilities

• Med/Surg Telemetry unit within a hospital setting.
• Assignments may include various medical/surgical and telemetry floors.
• Transitional care and emergency services units may also be involved.
• Day shift schedule from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM.
• Responsibilities include providing patient care for medical, surgical, and telemetry populations.
