American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a night shift Telemetry position in Tucson, AZ, within a float pool and requiring AZ or compact RN licensure and telemetry experience.

The assignment runs 13 weeks, with 36 hours per week across 12‑hour nights, and a 6:1 patient ratio; travel between four facilities is expected.

Qualifikationen

• Active AZ or compact RN license
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications
• At least 2 years of recent RN experience, including telemetry
• No local travelers within a 50-mile radius
• No gaps in work history of 90 days or more in the past 12 months
• No certification should expire within the first 30 days of assignment
• Not eligible if employed as permanent staff at any CHS facility within the past 2 years

Aufgaben

• Work in a hospital setting as part of a Medical-Surgical/Telemetry float pool
• Patient assignment ratio is 6:1
• Night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM, three 12-hour shifts per week
• Required to work 6 weekend shifts per 6-week schedule
• Must be willing to float between four facilities as assigned
• Float pool nurses must be flexible and able to adapt to different units and workflows
• Responsible for providing patient care, utilizing critical thinking and clinical judgment in accordance with hospital policy
• RTO requests must be less than one week
• Drivers license required for consideration
• Shift accountability for supervising and delegating to assigned staff
• Continuous education and maintaining clinical competencies are expected
