Job summary

Trinity Health Grand Rapids is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for the FirstChoice travel program with premium compensation and flexible assignments.

As a Travel RN, you may float across units and locations, holding valid RN licensure, and meeting specialty credentials. This part-time night-shift role offers premium pay, daily pay, and license/certification reimbursements for eligible assignments.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited school of nursing.
• Valid RN licensure authorized in the applicable state(s) of practice.
• Minimum 18 months of recent Med Surg/Tele/PCU experience; 2+ years for other specialties.
• Credentials per specialty (e.g., ACLS, TNCC) required and maintained.
• BLS, ACLS and PALS must be through the American Heart Association.

Responsibilities

• Float throughout hospital and/or multiple locations/regions as needed.
• Apply standard elements of nursing care: assess, identify outcomes, plan, implement, evaluate.
• Act independently within license, scope of knowledge and experience.
• Maintain accountability for delegation and outcomes.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to improve quality and outcomes.
• Adapt to new responsibilities and diverse patient needs.
