Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing-Nursing is seeking a Med Surg RN for a 13-week travel assignment in Springfield, Missouri. This role offers night shifts, 12 hours, nights, 36 hours per week, and the chance to impact patient care across Med Surg units in a facility setting.

Qualifications

• One year of recent Med Surg RN experience.
• Valid RN license in compliance with state regulations.
• Current BLS (AHA/ARC) Certification

Responsibilities

• Explain procedures and treatments to patients and families, addressing concerns and ensuring understanding.
• Administer prescribed medications and treatments in adherence to nursing standards.
• Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients’ conditions, documenting changes and reporting concerns to the care team.
• Coordinate discharge planning and follow-up care to ensure a smooth transition from hospital to home.
• Maintain a safe and comfortable environment for patients recovering from medical conditions or surgical procedures.
• Document comprehensive patient information in the medical record and communicate with the care team.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to create and implement individualized care plans.
