Job summary

TotalMed RN is seeking a travel nurse RN Med Surg for a travel nursing job in Osage Beach, Missouri. The ideal candidate has 1-2 years of recent acute care experience and will work 36 hours per week on a 9-hour night shift in a fast-paced Med Surg setting.

You will perform patient assessments, administer medications, change dressings, assist with procedures, educate patients and families, and participate in discharge planning.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of recent acute care experience.
• BLS and ACLS certifications may be required.
• Ability to work 9-hour night shifts on a 36-hour per week schedule.

Responsibilities

• Provide bedside care and patient assessments for Med Surg patients.
• Administer prescribed medications and monitor for adverse reactions.
• Change dressings, insert IVs, and assist with examinations and treatments.
• Educate patients and families and participate in discharge planning.
