Job summary

TotalMed RN is seeking a travel Med Surg RN for Fayetteville, AR. The assignment runs for 12 weeks with 36 hours per week and a 12-hour night shift. Immediate openings require 1–2 years of acute care experience and active BLS/ACLS/NRP certifications.

Qualifications

• RN and Med Surg specialization required.
• 1-2 years recent acute care experience preferred.
• BLS, ACLS, NRP, and additional certifications may be required.

Responsibilities

• Provide bedside care for a variety of Med Surg patients, including pre- and post-op.
• Administer and document prescribed medications, report adverse reactions.
• Change dressings, insert catheters and start IVs as needed.
• Prepare equipment and assist physician during examinations and treatments.
• Educate patients and families about procedures and care plans.
• Participate in discharge planning and patient education as prescribed.
