Job summary

Sunbelt Staffing is seeking a travel nurse RN Med Surg for a travel assignment in Lumberton, NC. The 17-bed Med/Surg unit cares for COPD, CHF, diabetes, infections, and more. The role requires a NC RN license, 2 years of Med/Surg experience, BLS, and may require NCI/de-escalation certification.

Shifts are 12 hours nights; 36 hours per week over 13 weeks. Rotations include weekends and holidays with floating to related units as needed.

Qualifications

• Active North Carolina RN license required.
• Minimum 2 years Med/Surg RN experience.
• BLS certification required; ACLS preferred.
• NCI/de-escalation certification required; may be obtained onsite if needed.

Responsibilities

• Floating required to other Med/Surg areas as needed; may float to ICU for Med/Surg-level patients only.
• EMR: EPIC
• Every other weekend, holiday rotation required; no call.
