TotalMed RN is seeking a travel nurse RN Med Surg for a travel nursing job in Urbana, Illinois. The role requires 1–2 years of acute care experience, BLS/ACLS, and 12-hour night shifts, with travel duties and a 36-hour work week.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Provide bedside care for a variety of patients, including pre- and post-op.
• Provide, record, and report prescribed medications and adverse reactions.
• Perform dressing changes, catheter insertions, and IV starts.
• Prepare equipment and assist physician during examinations and treatments.
• Educate patients and families about procedures and care plans.
• Participate in discharge planning and initiate patient education as prescribed.
