Job summary

TotalMed RN is seeking a travel nurse RN Float Med Surg for a travel nursing job in Fort Wayne, Indiana. The right RN should have 1-2 years recent acute care experience.

As MedSurg RN, you will perform bedside care, document findings, educate families, and support discharge planning. This temporary assignment features 13 weeks, 36 hours per week, 12-hour nights, and a tax-free stipend.

Qualifications

• RN with Med/Surg experience preferred.
• 1-2 years acute care experience requested.
• BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Provide bedside care for Med/Surg patients, including pre- and post-op care.
• Assess patients and document findings; administer medications as prescribed.
• Monitor and report patient status changes; collaborate with physicians.
• Educate patients and families about procedures and care plans.
• Participate in discharge planning and patient education.
