TotalMed RN in Ardmore, Oklahoma is seeking a travel nurse RN for Med Surg for a 13-week assignment. The role offers 36 hours per week and 12-hour night shifts as a Travel position.

Ideal candidates have 1–2 years of recent acute care experience and BLS certification. Responsibilities include bedside assessment, medication administration, post-op and pre-op care, and patient education with discharge planning and family support.

Qualifications

• Med Surg specialty required.
• RN discipline required.
• 13-week duration for the travel assignment.

Responsibilities

• Provide bedside care for a variety of patients, including pre- and post-op patients.
• Administer and record prescribed medications, reporting any adverse reactions.
• Educate patients and families; participate in discharge planning and patient education.
