Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing-Nursing seeks a Travel Nurse RN for Med Surg in Aurora, CO for a 13-week assignment. Start date 10/05/2026, 36 hours per week, nights, travel employment with competitive pay and comprehensive benefits.

The RN will deliver high-quality, patient-centered care in medical-surgical and telemetry units, assessing conditions, monitoring telemetry, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to meet diverse patient needs.

Qualifications

One year of recent Med Surg RN experience.
Valid RN license in compliance with state regulations.
Current BLS (AHA/ARC) Certification.

Responsibilities

Explain procedures and treatments to patients and families, addressing concerns.
Administer prescribed medications and treatments per nursing standards.
Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients’ conditions and document changes.
Prepare patients for diagnostic procedures and assist physicians during treatments.
Maintain a safe, comfortable environment for patients recovering from conditions or procedures.
Document patient information, vital signs, medications, and care outcomes in the medical record.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to create and implement care plans.
Manage multiple patients, prioritizing care based on acuity.
Ensure infection control practices and PPE usage are followed.
Advocate for patients’ needs and coordinate discharge planning.
