ARMStaffing is seeking a travel nurse RN Med Surg for a travel nursing job in Henderson, North Carolina. The RN will provide specialized Medical-Surgical care in a fast-paced setting, focusing on patient safety and comfort.

Responsibilities include starting IVs, Foley catheters, NG tubes, EKGs, and collaborating with the medical team to implement care plans while maintaining safety and cleanliness on the unit.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience with at least 1 travel assignment completed.
• Required certifications: NIH, ACLS, BLS.

Responsibilities

• Start IVs, insert Foley catheters, and NG tubes
• Perform EKGs and manage heparin drips
• Monitor patient conditions and record vital signs
• Collaborate with the medical team to develop and implement patient care plans
• Maintain a safe and clean environment for patients and staff
