MedPro Healthcare Staffing is seeking a travel nurse RN Med Surg for a travel assignment in Henderson, North Carolina. The role requires 18 months of Med/Surg acute care experience, an active RN license, and BLS certification.

The contract runs for 13 weeks with 36 hours per week on a night shift. Benefits include weekly pay, housing allowance or private housing, credentialing fee coverage, health insurance, life and disability coverage, travel reimbursement, and a 401(k) matching program.

Qualifications

• Active RN license
• Degree from accredited nursing program
• BLS certification
• 18 months of recent experience in an Acute Care Med/Surg setting
• Travel assignment for 13 weeks requested

Responsibilities

• Complete assignments made by physicians.
• Provide routine treatment and post-surgical care.
• Assess changes in patient’s health status and perform various treatments.
• Administer medication.
• Meticulous documentation to ensure continuity of care between nursing staff, physicians and other treatment team members.
