Anders Group is hiring a Travel Med/Surg Registered Nurse (RN) in Mattoon, IL for a 13-week contract starting 10/11/2026. This travel assignment offers experienced RNs a chance to expand clinical expertise in a hospital setting while working with a supportive healthcare team.

You will provide bedside care on the Med/Surg unit, develop care plans, administer medications, document in EMR, and collaborate with physicians.

Qualifications

• Current IL RN license or Compact RN license if eligible.
• 2+ years of recent Med/Surg experience preferred.
• BLS certification through AHA.
• Additional unit certifications may be required.
• Ability to adapt in fast-paced clinical environments.

Responsibilities

• Provide bedside nursing care in the Med/Surg unit.
• Create and update individualized patient care plans.
• Administer medications and treatments as ordered.
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams.
• Document patient care accurately in EMR systems.
• Promote patient safety and quality outcomes.
