Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a Travel Med Surg RN for a 13-week assignment in Mattoon, IL. Start date 11/02/2026, 40 hours per week, nights. RN with Med Surg experience will provide high-quality patient care, monitor telemetry, and collaborate with the care team across shifts.

Qualifications

• One year of recent Med Surg RN experience
• Valid RN license in compliance with state regulations
• Current BLS (AHA/ARC) Certification

Responsibilities

• Explain procedures and treatments to patients and families
• Administer prescribed medications and treatments per nursing standards
• Conduct comprehensive assessments and document changes
• Prepare patients for diagnostic procedures and assist physicians
• Maintain a safe environment for post-procedure patients
• Document patient information in the medical record
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to create care plans
• Manage multiple patients based on acuity and needs
• Ensure infection control practices are followed
• Advocate for patient needs and discharge planning
