American Traveler, LLC. is hiring a Med/Surg RN for a 15-week day shift contract in Hawaii. The assignment requires an active Hawaii RN license and a minimum of 2 years of med/surg experience.

The role involves caring for adult patients on a 50-bed unit with a 1:5 nurse-to-patient ratio, potential float to other units, and use of Meditech EMR and related equipment. 36 hours weekly, orientation included, no holiday RTO, arrival in Hawaii required before start.

Qualifications

• Active Hawaii RN license required by start of assignment.
• BLS certification required; ACLS preferred.
• Minimum 2 years of med/surg or higher level of care experience required.

Responsibilities

• Care for adult patients on a medical-surgical unit.
• Work on a 50-bed unit with a 1:5 nurse-to-patient ratio.
• May float to surgical/pediatrics or transitional care units as needed.
• Operate Meditech EMR, Pyxis, wound vac, chest tubes, and related equipment.
• Day shift with potential for varying hours and days.
• Provide med/surg level nursing care to adults 18+.
