Job summary

VyTalent Solutions is seeking a travel nurse RN Med Surg for a travel nursing job in Baltimore, Maryland.

The Medical-Surgical RN will provide comprehensive care in a hospital setting, coordinate wound salvage procedures, and work with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes. This assignment requires 2 years of RN experience, BLS, and travel experience; NIHSS is preferred, and every 3rd weekend is required.

Qualifications

• 2 years of RN experience required.
• Must have completed at least 1 travel assignment.
• BLS required.
• NIHSS preferred.
• Required to work with wound salvage program.
• Every 3rd weekend required.
• Flu vaccine required.

Responsibilities

• Provide medical-surgical nursing care in hospital.
• Work within the wound salvage program involving serial procedures, antibiotics, wound cultures, wound vacs, and pain management.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Float within your skillset as needed to meet departmental needs.
• Adhere to facility policies, including vaccination requirements.
