Job summary

TotalMed RN is seeking a travel nurse RN Float Med Surg for a Fargo, North Dakota assignment. This 13-week travel position offers 36 hours per week on a 12-hour shift rotation, with tax-free stipends as applicable.

The ideal candidate has 1–2 years of recent acute care experience, BLS certification, and a willingness to float across Med/Surg. Responsibilities include bedside assessments, med administration, dressing changes, IV starts, and patient-family education.

Qualifications

• BLS certification required.
• 1 year of recent acute care experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide bedside care for pre- and post-op patients.
• Administer prescribed medications and monitor for adverse reactions.
• Change dressings, insert catheters and start IVs.
• Prepare equipment and assist physician during examination and treatment of patient.
• Educate patients and families on procedures and care.
