Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a Med Surg RN for a 14-week travel assignment in Augusta, GA. The RN will deliver high-quality care in a medical-surgical unit, monitor telemetry, and collaborate with the care team to meet patient needs.

The ideal candidate has 1 year of Med Surg experience, an active RN license, and BLS certification. Preference for NIHSS/ACLS certifications. Travel pay package includes benefits and licensure reimbursement.

Qualifications

• One year of Med Surg RN experience required.
• Valid RN license in compliance with state regulations.
• Current BLS (AHA/ARC) certification.

Responsibilities

• Explain procedures and treatments to patients and families.
• Administer prescribed medications and treatments.
• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and document changes.
• Prepare patients for diagnostic procedures and assist physicians.
• Maintain a safe environment and ensure infection control.
