Job summary

MedPro Healthcare Staffing is seeking a travel nurse RN Float Med Surg for a travel nursing job in Newburgh, Indiana. The assignment is 13 weeks long, with a 36-hour workweek and 12-hour day shifts, in a Med-Surg unit for adult patients.

The RN must hold an active license, have a degree from an accredited nursing program, and BLS. Eighteen months of recent Acute Care Med/Surg experience is preferred, with client-specific requirements to be determined by the facility.

Qualifications

• Eighteen months of recent Acute Care Med/Surg experience.
• BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Provide care for adult Med-Surg patients before/after surgery.
• Administer medications and treatments per physician orders.
• Document patient care accurately to ensure continuity across teams.
• Assess patient status and communicate changes to care team.
• Complete assignments in support of the clinical team.
