Job summary

TotalMed RN is seeking a travel nurse RN Med Surg for a travel nursing job in Bismarck, North Dakota. The assignment runs 13 weeks with 48 hours per week on 12-hour night shifts. Start date 10/19/2026 and travel employment type.

This position requires an RN with Med Surg experience and BLS certification for an acute care setting. As a MedSurg RN you will assess patients, document findings, and educate families.

Qualifications

• RN with Med Surg specialty and BLS certification.
• 1–2 years of recent acute care experience.
• Travel nursing eligibility for assignment in Bismarck, ND.

Responsibilities

• Provide bedside care for a variety of patients, including pre- and post-op.
• Administer and record prescribed medications, report adverse reactions.
• Change dressings, insert catheters, and start IVs.
• Prepare equipment and assist physician during examinations/treatments.
• Educate patients and families and support discharge planning.
