Job summary

TotalMed RN is seeking a travel nurse RN Med Surg for a travel nursing job in Dickinson, North Dakota.

This assignment runs 13 weeks with 36 hours per week on 12-hour night shifts. The ideal candidate has 1–2 years of acute care experience and holds current BLS and PALS certifications. TotalMed RN offers weekly pay, guaranteed hours, and benefits, plus travel support and stipends as applicable.

Qualifications

• Patience and critical thinking for acute care environments.
• Strong interpersonal skills for patient and family education.
• Ability to perform in fast-paced hospital settings.

Responsibilities

• Provide bedside care for pre- and post-op patients.
• Administer and document prescribed medications; report adverse reactions.
• Change dressings, insert catheters, and start IVs.
• Prepare equipment and assist physician during examinations and treatments.
• Educate patients on surgical procedures.
• Participate in discharge planning and patient education.
