Job summary

MedPro Healthcare Staffing is seeking a travel nurse RN Med Surg for a travel assignment in Winchester, Tennessee. This 13-week contract requires a 36-hour week with 12-hour night shifts, and a valid RN license plus BLS.

The assigned nurse will provide Med-Surg care, complete physician orders, document care meticulously, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team. Travel reimbursements, housing options, and comprehensive benefits are included.

Qualifications

• Active RN License
• Degree from accredited nursing program
• BLS Certifications
• Eighteen months of recent experience in an Acute Care Med/Surg setting
• Other requirements to be determined by our client facility

Responsibilities

• Complete assignments made by physicians.
• Provide routine treatment and post-surgical care.
• Assess changes in patient\'s health status and perform various treatments.
• Administer medication.
• Meticulous documentation as to medication and treatment administration to ensure continuity of care between nursing staff, physicians and other treatment team members.
