Job summary

MedPro Healthcare Staffing in Nashville, TN is seeking a travel nurse RN in Med Surg for a 13-week assignment. The role covers 36 hours per week with 12-hour night shifts, start date 10/05/2026, and travel employment.

The RN must hold an active license, a nursing degree, BLS, and at least 18 months of Acute Care Med/Surg experience. Housing, per diems, and benefits are included as part of the assignment through MedPro.

Qualifications

• Active RN License
• Degree from accredited nursing program
• BLS Certifications
• Eighteen months of recent experience in an Acute Care Med/Surg setting

Responsibilities

• Complete assignments made by physicians.
• Provide routine treatment and post-surgical care.
• Assess changes in patient's health status and perform various treatments.
• Administer medication.
• Meticulous documentation as to medication and treatment administration to ensure continuity of care between nursing staff, physicians and other treatment team members.
