Job summary

TotalMed RN is seeking a travel nurse RN Med Surg for a travel nursing job in Augusta, Georgia. The role is a 13-week assignment with 36 hours per week, featuring 12-hour day shifts. Immediate start for qualified RNs with 1-2 years of acute care experience.

ACLS/BLS and other certifications may be required. As a MedSurg RN, you will assess patients, prioritize data collection, document findings, and educate patients and families.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of recent acute care experience required.
• ACLS and BLS certifications often required before start.

Responsibilities

• Provide bedside care for a variety of patients including pre- and post-op.
• Administer prescribed medications and monitor for adverse reactions.
• Document patient findings and educate patients and families.
• Assist during examinations and treatments as ordered by physician.
• Participate in discharge planning and patient education.
