Job summary
Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a Travel Med Surg RN for a 13-week assignment in Burlington, KS. You will work 12-hour nights in a medical-surgical and telemetry setting, caring for diverse patient needs while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team.

Qualifications
- One year of Med Surg RN experience.
- Valid RN license in compliance with state regulations.
- Current BLS (AHA/ARC) Certification.
Responsibilities
- Explain procedures and treatments to patients and families.
- Administer prescribed medications and treatments per nursing standards.
- Conduct comprehensive assessments and document changes for care team.
- Prepare patients for diagnostic procedures and assist physicians.
- Maintain safe, comfortable environments for patients post-procedure.
- Document patient information in the medical record.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop care plans.
- Manage multiple patients, prioritizing by acuity.
- Ensure infection control practices and PPE use.
- Advocate for patients’ needs and ensure they’re integrated into care.
- Coordinate discharge planning for smooth home transition.
